ConnecTED X Uzbekistan (December 2022)

The second global exchange program in 2022

On the 22nd of November, we participated in the second global exchange program that we planned last month.

Activities of the day

  • Introduction

Last time, we decided to talk about our lifestyles for the next program. But we had an internet connection problem back then for a few times so we decided to share our lifestyles by showing videos.

  • Sharing Videos of our lifestyles

We shared the amazing videos by showing our video first, and then watching their videos, by turns. And after watching the video we made a comment, feedback to one another and asked some questions.

Our team was divided into three small teams, each presenting the lifestyles at school, lifestyles at dormitory, and programs like club projects and more.

Since the files were too big, I will attach only one video about dormitory life in GGHS.

Their videos were very interesting, and we were both sad that we had to end the project for this year.

I hope we can meet again soon!

ConnecTED X Uzbekistan (October 2022)

The first global exchange program in 2022

On the 25th of October 2022, we got a chance to do a global exchange program with Uzbekistan.

It has been nearly a year since we started the exchange program and six other members participated to the exchange team this year. We were all very excited to participate in.

They were both fluent in Korean and English, so we used both of the languages during the meeting.

Activities of the day

  • Introduction

First, we started to introduce ourselves. They showed the pictures they’ve drawn, their favorite K-pop songs, Taekwondo, and Dances (the song was That That by Psy).

We also introduced ourselves by talking about not only our names, ages but general information such as K-pop idol bias, favorite foods and more.

  • GGHS introduction video

We watched the video of introducing our school about our global exchange program, lifestyles and more.

  • Ice breaking

A lot of questions were sent to one another. We got a chance to know more about each other’s country overall, and we mostly asked questions about our daily lives.

–  A recommendation of which place to go, what food to eat

– Talking about their K-pop idol bias

– Explaining their daily routines in school

– Singing songs and showing wonderful dances to each other

  • Wrapping up

It was a short time and we had to say goodbye to each other, promising for the next meeting. We decided to have a short presentation about our lifestyles in detail and talk about it.
